Delta Rhythm Boys ~ Dry Bones

The Delta Rhythm Boys appeared in 15 films from the early ‘40s to 1956. But this was only one of the many achievements of the pioneering rhythm and blues group. If their name doesn’t have the same familiar sign as THE INK SPOTS or Mills Brothers it’s because their 50-year career yielded only one chart hit. But in terms of singing, they were a hit every time out and became popular through the media of radio, live performances, films, and even Broadway shows. Source:VocalGroup.org

House of Pain ~ Jump Around

Thanks to freestylemusicvideos at YouTube

Pack it up, pack it in
Let me begin
I came to win
Battle me thats a sin
I wont tear the sack up
Punk youd better back up
Try and play the role and the whole crew will act up
Get up, stand up, come on!
Come on, throw your hands up
If youve got the feeling jump across the ceiling
Muggs is a funk fest, someones talking junk
Yo, Ill bust em in the eye
And then Ill take the punks home
Feel it, funk it
Amps in the trunk
And I got more rhymes than theres cops that are dunking
Donuts shop
Sure nuff I got props from the kids on the hill
Plus my mom and my pops

Chorus

I came to get down (2x)
So get out your seats and jump around
Jump around (3x)
Jump up jump up and get down.
Jump (18x)
Ill serve your ass like john macenroe
If your girl steps up, Im smacking the ho
Word to your moms I came to drop bombs
I got more rhymes than the bibles got psalms
And just like the prodigal son Ive returned
Anyone stepping to me youll get burned
Cause I got lyrics and you aint got none
So if you come to battle bring a shotgun
But if you do youre a fool, cause I duel to the death
Try and step to me youll take your last breath
I gots the skill, come get your fill
Cause when I shoot ta give, I shoot to kill

Chorus

Im the cream of the crop, I rise to the top
I never eat a pig cause a pig is a cop
Or better yet a terminator
Like arnold schwarzenegger
Tryn to play me out like as if my name was sega
But I aint going out like no punk bitch
Get used to one style and you know I might switch
It up up and around, then buck buck you down
Put out your head then you wake up in the dawn of the dead
Im coming to get ya, coming to get ya
Spitting out lyrics homie Ill wet ya

Chorus
Jump (32x)

Yo, this is dedicated
To joe, da flava, dakota
Grag yo bozac, punk

Brad Paisley featuring Andy Griffith ~ Waitin' On A Woman

i must confess the most knowledge i have of Brad Paisley is the advertisement his tour sponsor Hershey's is running, featuring him jammin' on the beach while his friends frolic and make 'smores around the campfire...but i have been a fan of Mr. Andy Griffith's since i was a child, so of course when i found this i had to post it.

Martha and The Vandellas ~ Dancing In The Street

If Mungo Jerry's In The Summertime is best described as the summer anthem for my sibs/buds, then the only accurate way to categorize Martha and The Vandellas' Dancing In The Street for my fam would be credo. Not to bum anyone out, but recently one of my cousins shook off the mortal coil. Back in the day her brother's d.c. based band was the opening act for another motor city icon, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles...i just know that somewhere my cuz is shakin' her moneymaker to Martha and The Vandellas, one of our fav girl groups. May the gods speed Dorothea.

sookie's Nip/Tuck Music Videos

As visitors to my site In A Lather know, i am a fan of the FX show Nip/Tuck. Recently i've made some music vids with Nip/Tuck clips. Enjoy :-)

Nip/Tuck ~ George Michael's Too Funky

Nip/Tuck clips set to George Michael's Too Funky [which samples the seductive voice of Anne Bancroft from Mike Nichols' film The Graduate].

Nip/Tuck ~ The Beatles Baby You Can Drive My Car

Nip/Tuck Christian Troy, Kimber Henry, Blu Mondae, Sean McNamara, Matt McNamara, Porsches, Lambourginis, and Prius Hybrid Cars set to The Beatles Baby You Can Drive My Car.

Nip/Tuck Doctor Christian Troy 100% Pure Love

In Nip/Tuck season 1 episode 9 Christian Troy said "I've never loved anyone". That assessment changed in seasons 3 and 4 when he declared his love and proposed marriage to Kimber and Michelle [respectively]. Even though both those unions were not meant to be, Nip/Tuck fans know not only is the good doctor capable of opening his heart, but he has in fact been both the giver and receiver of 100% pure love.

Nip/Tuck's Doctor Christian Troy [S.O.S.]

sookietex' music vid of clips of doctor Christian Troy [portrayed by Julian McMahon] of FX' Nip/Tuck. Troy's persona is at turns sexy, funny, disturbing, and addictive. Set to Rihanna's hit tune S.O.S.

Nip/Tuck Sean ~ The Supremes Some Day We'll Be Together

Things looked pretty dire for Doctor Sean McNamara at the conclusion of the 5th season of FX'Nip/Tuck. i prefer not to read spoilers, and for those of you who like to, please don't tell me what you know [o.k., thanks, kisses].
i have no way of knowing for sure what Nip/Tuck's creator Ryan Murphy has planned for Sean, but my mantra since ep 5.14 has been:
"sean is NOT dead"---[he'd better not be ;-)]

Julian McMahon ~ Nip/Tuck ~ "King Size Papa"

This vid of Julian McMahon as himself, and Nip/Tuck's Doctor Christian Troy, begins with a sample of Sister Sledge's "Greatest Dancer" and segues to Julia Lee's naughtily hyperbolic "King Size Papa". Recently, TV Guide, at the request of Julian's fans, added him to the top of their listing of "Sexiest Stars".
