when my appetite has been whetted for music, and more specifically music videos, darn it i'm going to satisfy that craving. these vids are some of my favs...i hope you enjoy them too.
Nip/Tuck Christian Troy, Kimber Henry, Blu Mondae, Sean McNamara, Matt McNamara, Porsches, Lambourginis, and Prius Hybrid Cars set to The Beatles Baby You Can Drive My Car.
In Nip/Tuck season 1 episode 9 Christian Troy said "I've never loved anyone". That assessment changed in seasons 3 and 4 when he declared his love and proposed marriage to Kimber and Michelle [respectively]. Even though both those unions were not meant to be, Nip/Tuck fans know not only is the good doctor capable of opening his heart, but he has in fact been both the giver and receiver of 100% pure love.
sookietex' music vid of clips of doctor Christian Troy [portrayed by Julian McMahon] of FX' Nip/Tuck. Troy's persona is at turns sexy, funny, disturbing, and addictive. Set to Rihanna's hit tune S.O.S.
Nip/Tuck Sean ~ The Supremes Some Day We'll Be Together
Things looked pretty dire for Doctor Sean McNamara at the conclusion of the 5th season of FX'Nip/Tuck. i prefer not to read spoilers, and for those of you who like to, please don't tell me what you know [o.k., thanks, kisses]. i have no way of knowing for sure what Nip/Tuck's creator Ryan Murphy has planned for Sean, but my mantra since ep 5.14 has been: "sean is NOT dead"---[he'd better not be ;-)]
This vid of Julian McMahon as himself, and Nip/Tuck's Doctor Christian Troy, begins with a sample of Sister Sledge's "Greatest Dancer" and segues to Julia Lee's naughtily hyperbolic "King Size Papa". Recently, TV Guide, at the request of Julian's fans, added him to the top of their listing of "Sexiest Stars".

boomerSoundLevelEleven ~ what does it mean?
in the movie This Is Spinal Tap, the scene where they turn the amp sound level up to 11 always spoke to me. i'm a boomer, i like my music frequently, with frequency and ecclectically. i toyed with the thought of titling the blog my generation for the great boomer anthem given us by TheWho, but decided on boomerSoundLevelEleven because it was more in keeping with the feeling i had when i decided to create this blog.
i was watching vh1classic and was expecting to see Nirvana videos [in their entirety], but instead what i got was mostly talking heads and no i don't mean the band, and only snippets of actual music. and then it occurred to me: i'm a modern woman of the 21st century, with an infinite amount of internet resources literally at my fingertips. why should i gnash my teeth in frustration because i have been duped yet again by the description on the program grid of my tv. when my appetite has been whetted for music, and more specifically music videos, darn it i'm going to satisfy that craving. these vids are some of my favs...i hope you enjoy them too.
